I didn’t find the clue, but once I exited the raid, it ticked over and the clue was added to my inventory. Edit: looks like Ubisoft must have added a fix somewhere. Been back to the church multiple times, but no change. And, yes, we do have many more coming, stay tuned. I’ve unlocked the other raids, but it still lists as 0/1 clues. Puzzle that caused us big problems was Unseal The Well during the quest Well Traveled. On the desk you will find the first clue needed to complete The Legacy of Saint George. Go inside this church and approach the desk in the southwest corner.
Inside this monastery on the northside there is a church. On the map there the Escanceaster Monastery. The first clue is located on the River Exe River Raid map. If you need help with anything else in the game, we've got a metric ton of other guides for you to check out. Since the locations aren’t set in stone, and you can only raid so much before you ship is full and you can’t open any more chests, we suggest you try to expand your cargo hold as soon as possible. It’s especially important in the later stages of a raid, when your comrades start burning houses and the smoke prevents you from seeing much. Remember to use Odin’s sight to reveal the locations of the chests and save some time.
We found the shield in the Eastern Fortification, the first military camp you’ll find while going upstream from the starting position. Two are in the castle itself, while one is in the pig sty. There are several chests in this location, and any one of them can hold a gear piece. We got the cape from the Fortress on Exe, the big castle in the northwestern corner of the map.
